The Phidget SBC4 is a Single Board Computer with six integrated VINT ports. VINT Ports can be used in one of four ways: Communicating with an intelligent VINT Device, reading a 0-5V Voltage or ratiometric sensor, acting as a digital output, or reading switches as a digital input.
The SBC4 is an embedded computer that runs Debian GNU/Linux. It’s useful for long-running Phidgets applications or projects that need to be more portable.
You can connect a keyboard and monitor to work directly on the Phidget SBC using the pre-installed Linux terminal, or you can use an external computer to set up and run custom applications through the SBC’s web interface. You can even use the SBC4 as a remote server, accessing Phidgets connected to your SBC from programs running on other computers or devices on the network.
Soil Moisture Sensor
When placed into soil, the HUM1100 measures the moisture levels by monitoring the capacitance between its prongs. It outputs a number between 0.0 and 1.0 depending on the moisture of the soil. This sensor is useful for automated gardening projects and environmental research.
This Phidget connects to your computer through a VINT Hub.

Calibration
Generally, the HUM1100 will output values as follows:
- 0.0 to 0.2 – Dry soil
- 0.2 to 0.5 – Moist soil
- 0.5 to 1.0 – Flooded soil
However, the type of soil being monitored can impact these values and each HUM1100 will have a slightly different response so it is important to test for yourself to determine which value corresponds to your desired soil conditions.
Humidity/Temperature Sensor
The 1125_0 can measure Relative Humidity from 10% to 95% with a typical error of ±2%RH at 55% RH.
It also measures Ambient Temperature in the range of -30°C to +80° C with a typical error of ±0.75°C in the 0°C to 80°C range.

Light Phidget

dendrometer sensor
n complex mechanical systems, it is often very difficult to accurately measure the movement of a single part, especially if the linear alignment isn’t guaranteed to be perfect. The draw-wire encoder is a versatile solution to this very problem. When the wire is pulled out, the encoder produces a quadrature signal to describe the change in distance.

Flow Sensor
0.3 to 6 L/min
This flow sensor consists of a rotor and a Hall-effect sensor. When water flows through the sensor, the rotation of the rotor generates pulses proportional to the flow rate.

Drone DJI Phantom 4 Pro, caméra 4K Ultra HD,
The onboard camera has been redesigned to use a 1-inch 20-megapixel CMOS sensor. Equipped with a custom-designed lens featuring eight elements in seven groups, the camera is DJI’s first to feature a mechanical shutter, which eliminates “rolling shutter” distortion that can occur in images of fast-moving objects or during high-speed flight. It is as powerful as many traditional ground-based cameras. The more powerful video processing supports H.264 4K video at 60 frames per second or H.265 4K at 30 frames per second, with a bitrate of 100 Mbps in both cases. Obstacle Avoidance
FlightAutonomy is complemented by a set of high-resolution stereo image sensors located at the rear of the aircraft, which work in conjunction with a pair of sensors at the front and infrared sensors for detecting obstacles on the sides. This IP68-rated outdoor sensor operates autonomously and uses a built-in Li-Ion battery.
It connects to the internet via a LoRaWAN gateway.

PhidgetGPS
The PhidgetGPS provides the longitude and latitude of the board’s position in signed decimal degree format. The position accuracy (best case) is 2.5m CEP (Circular Error of Probability).
The PhidgetGPS also provides altitude, heading, and velocity, as well as the time and date. It will also let you know when it has a satellite fix.
The PhidgetGPS has a 3V rechargeable lithium battery to provide “hot starts” by remembering its previous positions. With a live battery, the PhidgetGPS can perform a signal re-acquisition in less than 1 second. The battery provides up to 1 month of operation before having to be recharged. Recharging an empty battery takes 24 hours.
